This page has high-resolution sample photos taken in the PhotographyREVIEW.com test studio with the Nikon D7000 digital SLR. Sample photos were shot RAW at all ISO settings at f/8 in aperture priority mode with the AF-S 18-105mm VR kit lens. White balance was set for the tungsten preset. Panasonic has followed this design path for five years now… so I guess you could say things seem to be working for the approach.
The essence is an attractive, slim camera with touches of steel, easy to find external buttons and a delightfully simple viewfinder menu to adjust the taps and tools in your picture making … and available in black, silver, red and blue.

What is ISO?
In traditional (film) photography ISO (or ASA) was the indication of how sensitive a film was to light. It was measured in numbers (you’ve probably seen them on films – 100, 200, 400, 800 etc). The lower the number the lower the sensitivity of the film and the finer the grain in the shots you’re taking.
