Great music can take a video edit to the next level, but music that doesn’t fit, or is cheesy stock-quality can make even the most awesome video seem like something your uncle put together after a few beers. I am currently downloading them so will share my thoughts as soon as I played with them more… £179.99 for FCP X ($299.99 USD), £29.99 for Motion 5 and same for Compressor (i don’t know what is new in this version of Compressor). It’ s only available in the APP store, no hard copies anymore…

I saw a brief demo of what the new CS5.5 suite could do at NAB and was very impressed. Photomatix is the de facto standard for HDR (high dynamic range) photography software. It was only recently added to our photography software reviews section and GB1 posted the first review. He’s a longtime HDR shooter and Photomatix user so his review is a welcome one.

Hasselblad announced three new software products to the Phocus Family, Phocus 2.6, Phocus Quick, and Phocus Mobile.
